The Eastwood County Rd should\\\’ve been built already! Its been close to 60 LOOOONG YEARS! In the past 2 decades weve heard a heck of a lot about the Parramatta to Chatswood transport corridor, with the emphasis being on rail. Fair enough! Stage one got built between Epping & Chatswood, with the other stage postponed indefinately! But what we never heard is that this corridor also has \\\”motoring & driving\\\” needs! It also has the need to be addressed & fulfilled in a \\\”driving & motoring\\\” sense! And thats where the Eastwood County Rd comes into all of this! It would slash to the bone travel times between these two urban centres, boost Macquarie Centre\\\’s growth potential & also complement it, relieve an already congested M2 Freeway in the Hills & more! Quite frankly, its \\\”that other M2\\\” no one ever talks about anymore, not since 1985! What a shambles! This Parramatta to Chatswood corridor doesnt just have a rail potential you know, it also has a road one as well, eversince 1950! But it fell \\\”by the wayside\\\” in 1985, & we want to know why?
