get the M5 East moving

Any time after 1pm the M5 East Tunnel westbound is a mess with delays back to Marsh St. and beyond. The main problem I believe is the incline of the road towards the exit of the tunnel and motorist not realising they have slowed. Also trucks that use the right lane. Another is that the slow lane immediately at the exit of the tunnel is very rarely used. My solution to this problem is 1. Use the electronic signage available to remind motorist that there is an incline and to maintain the speed limit. 2. During peak times have all loaded trucks to stay in the left lane until they reach the slow lane at the exit of the tunnel. Any slow truck can move to the left lane and other trucks that can maintain the speed limit can then remain in the middle lane therefore allowing cars to move pass the slower vehicles in the right lane. Simple !
