I wonder how many accidents have been caused by the new design of indicators on the front of most cars. The clear lens with a deep set orange globe doesn’t help when you are at 90 degrees to a vehicle, and I’ve bought one of these cars. The other point is you also get cars like the Honda Jazz with the indicator light mounted between the head light and the grill – nearly 500mm from the outside of the front guard.
Yes, most cars have side front guard indicators, but because indicators are usually near the head light, that’s the place I look at. I’ve also found that when the sun is shining on the front of cars it is also difficult to see these new fangled indicators.
